Matthew Werley has taught undergraduates and masters-level students in a broad range of academic settings in the USA, UK, and Austria.
He began lecturing at the university level at the age of twenty-one in Philadelphia and received professional tutorial training at the University of Oxford. He later designed cross-degree curriculum at the University of East Anglia and between 2009 and 2015 taught music history and anaylsis at the University of Cambridge.
To date, Matthew has offered some 30 different undergraduate courses (in English and in German), supervised numerous capstone projects and master's theses, as well as advised student projects in dance, art history, literature, and philosophy.
